This weekend marks the beginning of the Spring season. Let's get ready for the trees and flowers to bloom. On March 28th many people will celebrate Palm Sunday. Passover follows on March 30th. Good Friday is on April 2nd followed by Easter on Sunday April 4th. Finally, Administrative Professionals Day is April 21st. A day in which many businesses recognize their employees with gifts of appreciation.
Whether you celebrate these holidays or not, you probably know someone who does. Now is a good time for you to benefit from showing appreciation to your clients and employees. Sending a gift basket to someone makes them feel special and keeps them from straying to your competition. A good way to build loyalty to your organization.

Chocolate Pink Gift Basket
Chocolate is an irresistible treat for many people. Whether in the liquid or solid form, it can be a comforting indulgence when you need a quick pick me up. There are various types of chocolate: unsweetened, bittersweet, semisweet, sweet, milk, and white chocolate. Last week I attended an event where they even had a chocolate fountain filled with blue chocolate. I am more of a chocolate purest and decided not to try the blue. It just didn't appeal to me. The following are a few facts that you might find interesting about this delectable treat.
Five Chocolate Facts
- Cocoa is a tree, native to South America, whose seeds are the source of cocoa and chocolate.
- In 1875, Daniel Peter and Henri Nestle added condensed milk to solid chocolate, creating a milk chocolate bar.
- 1896, the recipe for chocolate brownies was intorduced in the Fannie Farmer Cookbook.
- By 1907, Milton Hershey's factory was producing close to 33 million kisses per day. They are one of the most popular chocolate candies sold.
- The original 3 Musketeers Bar of the 1930's had three parts: chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. It became all chocolate in the 1940's and the formula remains the same to this day.
